Father Ernesto Maria Caro
Father Ernesto María Caro was ordained to the priesthood in August 1991 for the Archdiocese of Monterrey, Mexico. Prior to attending the Monterrey Archdiocesan Seminary, he studied mechanical engineering and earned a master’s degree in business administration. Father Caro holds a degree in spirituality from the Gregorian University in Rome and a doctorate in Mariology from the Marianum in Rome, as well as the International Marian Research Institute in Dayton, Ohio. He has served as a member of the Ecclesial Tribunal of Monterrey, as the pastor of Holy Cross Church and as a professor at the Monterrey Archdiocesan Seminary.
He is the founder and spiritual director of several organizations include the ARXE Institute, a school; Vivir en Cristo, a Catholic movement for the formation of families; and Hijas de la Visitación de María, which works to spread the joy of the Gospel to the world. He also founded and directs Evangelización Activa, an institution dedicated to spread the Gospel using social media.
